Calder members and friends are invited to the festive fun at the Annual fundraising Christmas Fuddle at the Club Room in Ossett Town FC Social on 19th December at 19:00.
There will be a buffet, raffle prizes and festive fun. Attendees are asked to bring along a raffle prizeThe event is organised by Social Secretary Jean Burton.
Jean is also inviting everyone to a New Years Day Breakfast at the Burton’s after the New Year Day 5 mile Time Trial on Heath Common
The Calder “Health Ride” on Saturday 22nd December and is described as a “Santa Ride”. Riders are encouraged to dress up or decorate their bikes. Free post ride drinks, mince pies and prizes for best Festive bike & rider ensemble. The ride begins from Anglers Country Park – Waterton Discovery Centre 10:15 for 10:30, Everybody welcome.
The ride is supported by Wakefield District Cycle Forum and sponsored by Go:Cycling (not to be confused with go-Ride). Go:Cycling is a West Yorkshire based initiative by Metro and the 5 West Yorkshire Metropolitan districts to encourage cycling
