The “Pie and Peas at Norma and Johnny’s” 2012 was on Sunday 15th July from 1:30 onwards.
Hosts Norma & John Clayton welcomed Calder Clarionistas and friends to their home and garden in Horbury on 15th July 2012.
As last year, the rain held off and there was that rare commodity, sunshine. The Pork pies were excellent as were Norma’s mushy peas. There were home made flans and a variety of ‘puddings’ on offer too. 
That day’s Club run was a relatively short ride to Thorne, so riders were able to attend.One of those unable to make it was Matt Dodsworth who was ill on the way back from Thorne. He blamed the omelette he’d had at the cafe.
Peter and Evelyn Howard brought along Peter’s Olympic Relay torch which he’d carried on the leg at Headingley Cricket Ground.
