National Clarion Nomination – Daniel James

Most meritorious Junior Rider : Daniel James

Daniel James has raced six rounds of the Yorkshire Points cyclo-cross league and has won four of them and finished second in the other two. The Yorkshire league is super competitive in junior racing. In many rounds he was beating over 50 other under 8 riders. In one round (Barnsley) he lapped the entire field.

He won a round of the Rapha Super Cross, this time almost lapping the field.

He finished the fastest under 8 in the Northumberland Trophy, beating all bar one of the under 10s.

He won both the road and cyclo-cross races in his age category in the Calder Clarion run summer ‘Track and Turf’ race series.

He loves off road riding particularly and has ridden trails at Glentress and other centres on his cross bike.

Unfortunately due to clashes with other local Yorkshire points events he was unable to ride any of the National Clarion events (cyclo-cross and York track circuit) in 2015, nontheless he has ridden all the above listed events representing the Clarion.
