Calder Clarions paid their respects this armistice day visiting memorials in and around Wakefield with the A riders riding to Wighill Church.    

Saturday 21st July 2018, saw 11 club cyclists, including two 13 year olds, Ben and Lewis , take on the coast to coast challenge, Whitehaven to Sunderland. With support from their back up team Ian Smith, Sandie Wood, Stephen Plumstead, Casey and mascot Ollie the dog, they cycled over 130 Miles in one day. Splitting

Calder Clarions were flying their flag at this year’s Tour De Yorkshire. The club showed their Yorkshire spirit by cycling to all the stages and taking part in the Tour de Yorkshire Maserati Sportive to support this fantastic cycling event.

Calder Clarion recently donated £175 to Wakefield Hospice, following their annual Christmas Ride. Santa’s and reindeer on bicycles gave onlookers a treat as they cycled to Lotherton Hall from Wakefield on Christmas Eve. Carolyn & John Stead presented the donation to Wakefield Hospice.
