No need to enter the Tour, just turn up and ride the regular Wednesday evening 10 on 21st August.

Stage 1 Prologue completed and you are in the Tour. Location and Details
Stage 2 on 28th August is the following weeks Wednesday time trial, but this time it’s the 10 mile time which counts. Location and Details
Stage 3 is next up on Sunday 1st September, is the Calder Clarion “Vineyards and Windmills” 100k Audax which starts from Walton Sports and Social Club. Because Audaxing isn’t competitive (all riders have to do is visit the checkpoints on the route sheet with an average speed faster than 15kph and no faster than 30kph) everyone who finishes, including those doing the Vineyards Windmills and Moss 200Ks first 100k will be credited with the same time. Just think of it as a stage you just have to complete to finish the Tour. Details and Entering
The Woolley Edge Hill Climb is Stage 4. It’s on Wednesday 4th August. The final Stage, stage 5 is Wakefield Hospice’s inaugural sportive, ‘The Dark Peak’. It’s a tough 72 mile ride. If you prefer to do the 45 mile or 23 mile events then you can, which means you can finish the 5 stage Tour, but your times will be adjusted so that you will be slower than the slowest rider in the longer sportives. The Overall Classification, the Yellow Jersey competition is, as with all Tours, based on the least cummulative time of each competitor.
The Green Jersey goes to the rider scoring most points over the 5 stages. Unlike most tours however, you only have to ride one event to appear in the final overall points classification.
Each stage of the White (Age Related) Jersey competition will be weighted according to age as outlined in Calder Clarion’s Standards details
The Polka Dot competition is for Power. To enter this competition, you will have to have yourself weighed before the prologue carrying your bike so we can calculate your power output for each stage. The average power you deliver over all the stages will establish the power classification.
